💙 Refund Policy – Umbrella Foundation ☂️

Effective Date: 23rd March 2025.

At Umbrella Foundation, we are committed to responsibly utilizing donations to uplift vulnerable rural communities. However, we understand that certain circumstances may require a refund of the donation we have made. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing such refunds.

🔹 1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds of donations made by Umbrella Foundation to individuals, organizations, or projects will only be considered under the following circumstances:
✅ Misuse of Funds: If it is determined that the recipient has misused or misappropriated the donated funds.
✅ Non-Compliance: If the recipient fails to meet the agreed-upon objectives or terms of the grant agreement.
✅ Project Termination: If the project or initiative for which the donation was made is discontinued or canceled.
✅ Duplicate or Error in Transfer: In case of accidental duplicate transfers or administrative errors.

🔹 2. Refund Process

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing with valid proof and justification.

  • The request must include:
    ✅ Recipient’s Name & Contact Information
    ✅ Donation Amount & Date
    ✅ Reason for Refund
    ✅ Supporting Documentation (if applicable)

  • Review Period: Refund requests will be reviewed and verified within 15-30 business days.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed through the original payment method or as per mutual agreement.

🔹 3. No Refund Cases

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:
❌ If the funds have been used for legitimate charitable purposes.
❌ If the recipient provides satisfactory documentation and justification for fund usage.
❌ If the request is made beyond 30 days from the donation date (except in exceptional cases).

🔹 4. Transparency and Accountability

  • Umbrella Foundation maintains strict financial oversight and thorough documentation of all donations made.

  • Refund decisions will be made transparently and fairly, considering the evidence and the impact on charitable objectives.
